KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Supplier quality management:
· Develop and maintain supplier quality assessment standards and processes to ensure that the supplier's quality management system meets company requirements and industry standards (such as ISO 9001).
· Regularly audit and evaluate the quality performance of suppliers, identify potential quality risks, and propose improvement measures.
2. Quality control and inspection:
· Develop and update inspection standards and inspection plans for raw materials, components, or services.
· Implement incoming inspection to ensure that all purchased items meet design specifications and quality standards.
· Handle non-conforming products, including returns, rework, concession acceptance, etc., and track the implementation of corrective measures.
3. Quality problem resolution:
· Lead or participate in the analysis, investigation, and resolution of supplier quality issues, including root cause analysis and the development and implementation of corrective and preventive measures.
· Coordinate cross departmental teams, such as R&D, production, procurement, etc., to jointly solve complex quality issues.
4. Continuous improvement:
· Promote suppliers to implement quality improvement projects, such as Six Sigma, Lean Production, etc., to enhance process capability and product quality.
· Regularly communicate with suppliers, share best practices, and promote the improvement of quality awareness and skills.
5. Quality cost analysis:
· Analyze supplier quality costs, including prevention, identification, internal and external failure costs, and propose cost saving solutions.
6. Compliance and Regulatory Compliance:
· Ensure that suppliers comply with relevant laws, regulations, industry standards, and company policies, especially those related to safety, environmental protection, and other aspects.
WORK CONTENTS
1. Supplier development and selection:
· Participate in the development and evaluation process of new suppliers, including on-site audits, sample testing, etc., to ensure that new suppliers can meet quality requirements.
2. Quality Agreement and Contract:
· Sign a quality agreement with the supplier, clarifying the quality responsibilities, inspection standards, and non-conforming product handling procedures of both parties.
3. Quality training and awareness enhancement:
· Provide training on quality tools, methods, and techniques to suppliers to enhance their quality control capabilities.
4. Performance monitoring and reporting:
· Regularly collect and analyze supplier quality data, generate quality reports, and report supplier quality performance to management.
5. Emergency response:
· In the event of a major quality accident or customer complaint, respond quickly, coordinate resources, and ensure that the problem is resolved in a timely manner.
6. Continuous improvement plan:
· Collaborate with suppliers to develop and implement continuous improvement plans, regularly evaluate the effectiveness of improvements, and continuously optimize the quality management system.
EDUCATION and EQUIVALENT EXPERIENCE
· Bachelor degree or above, major in mechatronics, or equivalents.
· At least 5 years working experience in manufactory. IE engineer, process engineer or quality engineer background is preferred.
· Project management experience in manufacture, PMP certification is preferred.
· Good Statistical knowledge with analytical and problem-solving skills. 6 sigma GB or BB is preferred.
· Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing concept and theories.
· Good PC skills on MS office SW.
· Fluent in both Chinese & English (both in spoken and written).
· Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Possess good report writing and presentation skills.
· Could make decision and take risk in change environment.
