Communication regarding the student’s performance is the responsibility of the homeroom teacher. The LA is not to report to parents how a child is performing at school, unless directed to by the homeroom teacher through a specific means (such as a data collection tool).Communication with the student’s parents must always be professional in manner and through school issued technology/email. All communication with the student’s parents should include the homeroom teacher.
