Responsibilities: Oversee General Accounting & reporting, including: ? Maintain General ledger and sub-ledgers ensuring clean databases, accurate data input and reporting coherence. ? Ensure accurate, reliable financial statements in compliance with company reporting norms ? Monitor whole month-end closing schedule / process / status ? Maintain chart of account mapping with regional and local ledger ? Analyze data coherence in systems and reports, trouble-shoot and identify cause of errors to prevent recurrence ?Provide accounting treatment guidance for any routine or new transactions ?Coordinate all accounting related issues cross different functions ? Resolve issues & provide guidance during the closing period Project & Process ?Involved in any system enhancement projects ? Involved in and initiate anyimprovement for existing process ? Be responsible for providing financial support for national initiatives from various business functions. ? Other adhoc tasks related to reporting / accounting / system & process. Tax business ? In charge of filing returns preparation and review tax returns including but not limited to monthly VAT and CIT returns in determining appropriate tax filing positions as well as to identify tax risks and opportunities. ? Review tax related terms in business agreements and intra-group arrangement contracts and provide comments to mitigate potential tax risks. ? Support and manage tax audits, including coordinate the provision of information with internal personnel and external tax advisors to the local tax bureaus for all sites in China. ? Act as the main contact and coordinator for tax authority visit or other tax-related activities and support other mandatory tax reporting required from government authorities in China. ? Provide tax advisory support and direction to internal function stakeholders in China on tax related issues. ?Provide tax related trainings including tax regulation updates to internal stakeholders in China.
