1.Purpose of the job
The Logistics Process and System Specialist is responsible for Logistics system data support, Logistics Hub data visibility, and identifying process and system improvement opportunities through data analysis in support of business objectives and priorities.
Also, provide related report for operation monitoring and improvement.
2. Key Accountabilities
? Maintain Logistics master data in Logistics System
? Maintain Logistics procurement data on behalf of Logistics Procurement team in Logistics System
? Maintain external Logistics Service Provider’s data in Logistics System
? Monitor logistics system interface on related data requirement and give alert
? Regular generate report as operation dashboard
? Monthly performance review data collection, service level tracking
? Show KPI via visualized dashboard, statistical caliber could be easily adjusted by leader
? Perform data analysis according to internal and external stakeholders’ input
? Guide user to understand various data analysis output and report
? Propose improvement opportunity from independent data analysis
? Collect logistics market trend
? Execute logistics projects activities
? Train Logistics specialist on using data analysis tool application
? Other work assigned by supervisor
Job requirements
? 3~5 years data analysis experience. Experience with chemical companies / logistics / supply chain is preferred
? Strong analytical skills and abilities
? Ability to manage multiple tasks and initiatives in parallel while adhering to timelines
? Well communication skills and ability to communicate with stakeholders and peers within the organization, including global team members
? Master or willing to understand logistics market practice
? Self-driven and able to work under supervisor guide
? Strong working knowledge and history of using computers and programs specific to database tools (e.g. PowerBI, SQL, Python, etc.) and to general business management (MS Excel, Word), familiar with TMS is preferred
? Bachelor’s Degree (BA/BS) in Business Analysis, Computer Science, Information Management, Operations Research, Supply Chain, Logistics, Mathematics or related field from 4-year accredited college or university
